- Intense summer life energy in this supreme Muscatel, a black tea considered to be a pick me liquor, ideal to be sipped at 11:00 AM, before and also after lunch. Plucked by hand between May and June, after the green flies have been cooperating feeding upon the leaves, giving its unique grape like flavour and coppery shade.
- Colour, Aroma, Taste: Liquor once steeped reveals a deep coppery amber note. A strong muscatel punch with fruity undertones reaches your olfactory gland when you smell this beautiful tea. Once sipped you will find that it has lots of character, muscatel and slightly sweet like honey but with a balancing acidity that leaves a floral, refreshing grape like sensation that dances on your tongue.
- Steep the Perfect Cup of Darjeeling Second Flush Tea: Place tea leaves in a cup, tea infuser or strainer and pour hot water over the leaves. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Best enjoyed plain without adding milk or sugar.
